In the school I was a total outsider. I spent my childhood alone. When the horror of musthave education was finished I still felt that I don't fit in but there was all world on front of me and no school to stop me. The transformation is still going on: from beast to beauty.

Fruits for the Party, 132x70 cm

This painting I painted out of anticipation. I was really looking forward to a party. I don't actually remember the party but the day beafore is in this painting.

Travellers Morning, 54x100 cm (sold)

When travelling by roads one can see most wonderful pictures. I remember the early mornings after a night in the bus. Twisted body was not importent enough to take away the pleasure of a wonderful sight soon I opened my eyes. I know that William Turner also travelled a lot and was inspired by Sun and strange landscapes. The one I painted here is probably somthing he also noticed: a Romian bridge on Mediterranean coast.

The eternal circle from the years of experience and old age to the wings of the young ones. When the old man is triyng to call back the young Icaros he knows that he's own hart actually wants to fly to the Sun, too.

The winter in the soul...we need it. Soul needs some rest and even when it hurts it's needed to wake up for love and change. If there wouldn't be darkness how would we know about light?

"Middle of August", 75x180 cm. Estonia, Tallinn

Walking through the seasons as a traveller the fields next to the road change. The ripening crops in August fill my hart with cratitude. The smell of richness that Nature is ready to give for hard work can never be seen as clearly as at the end of Summer. (Painting inspired by a song from Anne Maasik)

Cleansing Waters, 80x180 cm (sold)

The springwaters wash away the junk I have collected. I clean my head, my studio and emotions. So, I can start again and to have an other cleanup on the next Spring.

Child of the Winter, 90x90 cm (sold)

The changing points are always a great lessons. Change of seasons shows up the real strong ones. I find it amasing that a little plant can grow through the snow and produce most wonderful manifestations of life.

My daughter was interested how she would look as a redhead. So I painted her. I finished the painting one day beafore her birthday.

Biographical facts:

21. 08. 1970 Born in Tartu, Estonia
into a highly artistic family.
1987-1991 Took part in the “Singing Revolution”, a key event over 2 years by which the Baltic States rebelled against the Soviet Union.

1992 Gave birth to her first child.
Enjoyed her first exhibition in Tallinn’s Town Hall in Estonia and published own magazine.

Since 2000 Resident in Estonia and Spain.
2003 Had second child.

2004 Had a most successful personal exhibition in Madrid – arguably her best.

2005 For her exhibition in Tallinn at the premier ‘Galerii-G ‘ exhibition venue , she received the title of “Clarissima Domina” from organization ConventusTerra Mariana.
Since Sept. 2007 member of artist's union "Les Seize Anges" in Paris.



Specialized schooling:

1979-1982 In addition to normal school, also studied in the highly prestigious Art School for Children in Tartu, Estonia.

1986-1994 Studied in art college in Tartu, Estonia.
